A subscription is a managed website service. Here is exactly how ownership works before you sign anything.
After completing all six initial monthly payments you may buy the website and any ThunderLoud-registered domain for your plan's buyout price, paid in addition to your monthly subscription payments. The buyout is optional — if you keep subscribing, we keep managing everything.
Hosting, maintenance, and professional email are ongoing services, not lifetime entitlements after a buyout.
If you cancel without buying the website, you can request a transfer of a ThunderLoud-registered business domain on its own, at a separately quoted price agreed in writing before any charge.
Cancellation and transfer processes follow the written service agreement you sign before we start. You will review and sign that agreement before your first payment.
You pay nothing to start the project beyond your first monthly payment. The first month's payment is due before development begins, and there is no separate design or setup fee on any plan. Prices are plus applicable taxes.
You commit to six monthly payments. Those six payments are owed even if you cancel early; there is no additional early-cancellation penalty. After the sixth payment your plan continues month-to-month, and you can cancel with 30 days' written notice to our support email.
During an active subscription, ThunderLoud owns the website and any new domain ThunderLoud registers for your plan, and manages both for you. If you already own your domain, it stays yours. You keep ownership of your brand, the content you supply, and your customer records. You are subscribing to a managed website service, not purchasing the site outright.
Once you have completed all six initial monthly payments, you may purchase the website and any ThunderLoud-registered domain for your plan's buyout price: $997 for Essential, $1,497 for Business, and $2,497 for Growth. The buyout is paid in addition to your monthly subscription payments, which do not count toward it. It is optional. If you keep subscribing, we keep managing everything for you.
Yes, you can ask for a domain-only transfer of a ThunderLoud-registered business domain. We provide a separate written quote covering the domain price, any registrar charges, and transfer steps, and nothing is charged until you accept it. The transfer does not include the website, so arrange replacement website and email services before your cancellation date.
Hosting, maintenance, and professional email are ongoing services. They are included while you subscribe and are not lifetime entitlements once you have bought the site. Transfer steps follow the written agreement.
Small changes to existing pages: updating hours, prices, photos, a service description, or swapping a promotion. Each plan includes a set number per month. Larger work such as new pages or new features is scoped separately.
Yes. Our custom website projects start at $497 one-time and you own the site at launch. Subscriptions are for business owners who would rather spread the cost and have us handle hosting, updates, and maintenance.
Most local businesses choose Business at $247/month: up to five pages, a business email mailbox, quote requests, appointment booking, and a monthly summary of traffic and inquiries. Essential fits a single-page presence. Growth, for businesses running campaigns and tracking leads, is coming soon and not yet open for enrollment.
